Every week Barry picks a plant that he wants to show off. Week commencing 24/04/23 is:
Euonymus ‘Paloma Blanca’ or more commonly known as the White Candle Euonymus for obvious reasons.
As the new leaves of this evergreen emerge in the spring they are a striking creamy white, which contrasts nicely with the dark green mature foliage underneath, giving a characteristic bicolour look.
This adaptable small growing plant can be grown equally well in a border or container 🪴
