After moving to Glasgow I was looking for a career I could work hard at and make a difference in, but also enjoy. This is where Caulders came into my life and since day one I have enjoyed every day. I have recently moved to a new department and am enjoying my work even more. Working for Colin and Mandy has been a dream and I couldn’t see myself working anywhere else

After college, I was looking for a job that I could throw myself into. I was fortunate enough to be offered a position at Caulders and haven’t looked back since. Each day is different and full of new challenges. I love my job and get to work with brilliant people everyday

Since returning from a year traveling Australia I needed a job back home. I applied for Caulders Garden Centre in 2018 and have been working with the business since. Within Caulders I have been offered the opportunity to progress and join the Trainee Manager programme for the last year. Since then I am now working as a manager at the Cumbernauld Centre. Outside Caulders I am training to be a pilot and without my job this would not be possible. I am grateful for my job and the experience that I have gained over the last few years. Within Caulders everyone is like family making everyday a pleasure to work for them.

I began working at Caulders part time in May 2013 on what I thought would only be a summer job before going to University later that year. Fast forward to 2017 and I am midway through a gap year in what should be my 4th and final year at university, working on Caulders’ largest project at that time; The acquisition and development of a new Garden center – Our Cupar Branch. It was during this year that initially planted the seed of working for Caulders after university as I was hugely inspired getting work alongside our managing director, and the project brought my two worlds together from the Garden center and my engineering degree. Fast forward again to 2021 and I am now the Dry goods buyer for the group and project manager to various development projects. During my 8 years with Caulders they have almost tripled in size from 3 centres to 8, which wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and family ethos that stems down directly from the top. I am eagerly looking forward continuing my development alongside the continued successful growth of Caulders.
