Barry is one of Caulders Directors and is a brilliant expert on all things to do with plants.

Every week Barry picks a plant that he wants to show off. Week commencing 12/05/25 is:

Verbascum ‘Dark Eyes’

Verbascum ‘Dark Eyes’ 👀 is a stunning perennial with a compact growing habit.

It produces upright, clustered spikes of creamy-yellow flowers with a dark maroon centre eye.

The blue-green foliage is soft and velvety to touch and forms rosettes at the base of each flower’s spike.

Flowers profusely in summer and is ideal for giving your beds or borders a traditional cottage garden feel.
