Over the festive period, many of you will have spotted our special Cauldie Bear in centres across Caulders. As well as being a lovely festive keepsake, Cauldie Bear had a very important purpose – helping us give back to a charity chosen by our wonderful customers.
For every Cauldie Bear sold, £2 was donated to charity. Earlier in the year we asked our customers to get in touch and tell us which charity meant the most to them. We received so many wonderful suggestions, and Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) was a charity that came through strongly in the requests we received.
With so much support behind it, we were delighted to choose CHAS as our charity partner for Cauldie Bear.
CHAS provides vital care and support for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions across Scotland. Their incredible teams help families make the most of every moment together, offering specialist nursing care, respite breaks, emotional support and end-of-life care when it is needed most.
Thanks to the amazing support of our customers, we are delighted to share that Cauldie Bear helped raise an incredible £3,140 for CHAS.
Every bear purchased helped make this possible, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you. Your support will help CHAS continue the important work they do for children and families across Scotland.
