Kitchen Manager – Full Time

Are you an experienced chef and leader looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our restaurant kitchen at Caulders Garden Centre, Cupar.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading and developing the team, and ensuring every dish reflects the homemade quality and high standards that Caulders is known for.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Preparing and overseeing the cooking and presentation of our homemade food using trusted family recipes
- Ensuring every dish is produced to a consistently high standard
- Managing, motivating and supporting the kitchen team
- Planning team rotas and approving timesheets through our clocking system
- Supporting recruitment, training and ongoing development of kitchen colleagues
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
- Ensuring all health & safety, allergen and hygiene procedures are followed
- Managing stock levels, ordering and helping minimise waste
- Assisting with menu development, daily specials and seasonal dishes
- Leading by example and creating a positive, efficient working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous management experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment
- A passion for producing high-quality homemade food
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- The ability to motivate and develop a successful team
- A calm, hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods
- Ideally your own transport, as public transport links to our Cupar centre are limited

Location: Caulders Garden Centre, Cupar
Hours: Full Time, including regular weekend working.
Pay: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.
