Do you enjoy working as part of a busy kitchen team? We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our restaurant team at Caulders Garden Centre, Hetland.

As part of our kitchen team, you’ll help prepare our homemade food, support the chefs, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining the high standards Caulders is known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the chefs with the preparation of our homemade food.
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Washing cookware, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
• Helping to keep the kitchen organised and well stocked.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A hardworking and reliable approach.
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of your regular shift pattern.

Hours: Part Time, including regular weekend working.

Pay: Up to £12.75 per hour, depending on age and experience.
