Do you enjoy preparing fresh, homemade food and working as part of a friendly kitchen team? We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our restaurant team at Caulders Garden Centre, Cupar.

As one of our Cooks, you’ll play an important role in preparing and cooking our homemade menu to a high standard while helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly. You’ll work alongside a supportive team who take pride in serving quality food and providing an excellent experience for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking our homemade menu to a consistently high standard.
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation throughout the day.
• Helping to maintain high standards of food quality and portion control.
• Following recipes and ensuring consistency across the menu.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked.
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is essential.
• A passion for preparing fresh, homemade food.
• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as part of your regular shift pattern.

Hours: Full Time – Typically 4–5 days per week, including regular weekend working.

Pay: Competitive, depending on experience – discussed at interview stage.
