Front of House / Waiting Staff – Full Time

Do you enjoy working with people and providing great customer service? We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Front of House / Waiting Staff Member to join our restaurant team at Caulders Garden Centre, Kirkintilloch.
As part of our team, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for every customer, whether they’re popping in for a coffee, breakfast or lunch.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming customers with a friendly smile
- Taking food and drink orders efficiently
- Preparing and serving a range of teas, coffees and other drinks
- Serving freshly prepared food to our customers
- Processing customer payments
- Keeping the restaurant clean, tidy and well presented
- Working closely with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver excellent service
- Helping create a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for every guest
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role is preferred but not essential
- A positive, friendly and approachable attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and work in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods

Details
Location: 63 Kilsyth Rd, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow G66 1QF
Hours: Full Time – 5 days out of 7, including regular weekend working.
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, starting from up to £12.75 per hour (depending on age and experience).
