Do you have a passion for great food, strong leadership and creating a welcoming dining experience? We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our busy restaurant kitchen at Caulders Garden Centre, Cumbernauld.

As Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining our high food standards and ensuring every customer enjoys the homemade meals Caulders is known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating and supporting the kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service every day.
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality homemade dishes using our family recipes.
  • Maintaining exceptional food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and effective stock control.
  • Helping develop seasonal menus and daily specials using fresh ingredients.
  • Training, coaching and supporting team members to help them grow and succeed.
  • Managing team rotas and approving timesheets using our workforce management system.
  • Ensuring all food safety procedures, allergen controls and company standards are consistently followed.
  • Working closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a busy kitchen.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys motivating and developing a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for producing consistently high-quality food.
  • A flexible approach to working, including weekends.
  • A Food Hygiene qualification is desirable, but not essential.

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Includes regular weekend working.
